Lynn and I enjoy taking advantage of the opportunity to compete in the variouis gaming opportunities available on cruises.
The Royal Princess was no exception... we participated in individual competitions including trivia, bean bag toss (corn hole), basketball 3-point, and a scavenger hunt.
Early in the cruise, I participated in the bean bag toss that took place in the Piazza, a three story central atrium at the heart of the ship.
I made it to the finals against Galen, a nice young man from xxxxxxxxx. and was able to win a first place medal.
On this cruise, they had a new competition they called the Royal Olympics with one event occuring each sea day.
The events included lawn bowling, table tennis, beer pong, bean bag toss, golf chipping, basketball 3-point, etc.
In each event, 15 points were earned for first place, 10 for second, 5 for third, and 2 points for participating.
Because of wind on the recreation decks, only four events were completed.
In the end, Lynn got a Royal Olympics 1st Place medal for her 15 points (1st place) in pong, and 10 points (2nd place) for lawn bowling with me.
I tied for a 2nd Place medal earning 10 points (2nd place) for lawn bowling with Lynn, and 5 points (3rd place)each for table tennis, bean bag toss, and pong.

A different event was scheduled for each of the 9 days at sea.
Due to winds, we competed in four; bocci ball, corn hole, ping pong, and beer pong.
